Runway: Fall 2019 Couture

Updated: Jul 9, 2019

The most lavish and over-the-top looks are here to be celebrated during the couture runway season. My favorite moments of fashion is to see beautifully crafted pieces and artistically expressive masterpieces that reaffirm that fashion is an art form! To kickoff this season is Paris which is the capital of couture and fashion.

Here are some of my favorite collections so far...

Fendi

A beautiful combination of the glamour of the roaring twenties with the freeing prints and silhouettes of the seventies.

Elie Saab

When it comes to couture, Elie Saab always kills it with the most glamorous gowns fit for queens. With this collection I see asian fashion having an influence, as well as royalty and fairytale.

Armani Prive

A collection of almost exclusively pastels with an assortment of playful and girly patterns and fabrics.

Dior

The black swan of the collections this season filled with dark colors for fall.

Ronald van der Kemp

With, what looks like, an assortment of inspirations from warriors, futurism, Greek goddesses, and America.

Chanel

Like classic Chanel, always in keeping with the original brand and the influences of Coco Chanel.

Dundas

Bohemian fashion with prints and long flowing dresses. An unique twist by unifying the collection with corseted belts.

Valentino

An eclectic collection, each piece more different than the next.

Givenchy

A modern and exciting twist on haute couture by experimenting with color, fabric, and silhouettes. I love the new style of long and fancy bold tops paired with pants, and am excited to see it more on the red carpet.

Iris van Herpen

The most avant-garde of all of the collections with abstract pieces that actually look like a piece of art.

& Some More!

Alexandre Vauthier, Maison Margiela, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Schiaparelli.

Stay Fab,

Style & Repeat
